Adult Mental Health First Aid Training
July 20 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 9:00 am, repeating until July 21, 2022
Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders in adults ages 18 and older. This training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care. It also offers a five-step action plan on how to help people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. This includes a 2-hour online course to be completed by July 18 and an instructor-led portion, which will be hosted on Zoom July 20 and 21.
Attendance both days is required to receive certification.
